Interested in funding a cohort of 2024 WILD Fellows?
Our WILD Fellowships (full scholarships) are intended for global development professionals from aid-recipient countries who cannot (and whose employers, usually local NGOs) afford the cost to participate.
Philanthropic organizations and individual donors can make a tax-exempt donation to the Women’s Global Leadership Fund
Your financial contribution will directly expand access to WILD Fellowships. Fellowships cover 100% of the costs for people who identify as female and are based in the global South to participate in the 2024 Women in Global Development Leadership Forum and 6-month program of leadership development, networking and career-building activities.
Fellowships include access for select candidates to the WILD Network’s award-winning 1:1 leadership coaching program with the Coaching.com Foundation. This leadership coaching supports people poised to make an even more significant impact in their fields. Over six months, participants develop their leadership mindsets, skills sets and behaviors with the support of a certified leadership coach in order to achieve their professional and personal leadership goals. As a cohort, the coaching program participants also build meaningful relationships with a community of global development professionals committed to becoming even more impactful leaders.
Donations can be made to Community Initiatives, a registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Community Initiatives (CI) acts as a thought-partner and provides professional services to nonprofit startups, established initiatives, networks, and collaborations. We sponsor initiatives for the benefit of communities in service to social change. CI is based in Oakland, CA|EIN: 94-3255070

”I got a fellowship opportunity to attend the Women in Global Development Leadership Forum. The week-full of presentations were practical, engaging and insightful, and the connections made were and are invaluable, life-giving, and life-enhancing. Truly grateful, honored, empowered, and still living out the WILD experience

”For me, it wasn't the information that I learned as much as that it was life changing. I had so many aha moments where I got to explore different backgrounds in a rich platform of diverse cultures. I have developed my skills in the development sector with no mentor, unfortunately, and for me everything in this forum was useful and helpful information
Liza FayyadWorld Bank Group, Jordan, WILD Fellow
”I learned new terminologies in leadership and gender realm. I learned about global development and met amazing women from all around the world…I enjoyed attending almost all sessions. I loved the tools that were provided in the Leadership FailLab sessions and the other one on addressing mental health at the workplace. I already started applying this in my non-profit.
Noor TazkaShe Initiative, Syria, WILD Fellow
”I really appreciated when we spoke about Feminist Leadership. I felt inspired to get this concept and put it into practice in my company and my country and try to empower women all over the states in Brazil to become the best version of themselves… I’ve learned a lot about mental health, salary negotiation and leadership skills. I am planning on giving a workshop at my current company and one I am an alumni at.
