Stephanie LeBlanc-Godfrey
Global Head of Inclusion for Women of Color, Google (USA)
Stephanie is the Global Head of Inclusion Programs for Women of Color and a Thought Leader in doubling-down on support and advocacy for caregivers globally. Prior to this role, she was a Retention Strategist, acting as a coach, advisor, and advocate for underrepresented employees to get satisfaction in their role, feel included at work and find opportunities to develop and grow.
Leading up to this work, she co-created the State of Black Women @Google Summit and Collective, an initiative designed for black women Googlers, globally, to have dedicated space for community, conversation and connection. It has since expanded to include Latinas, Asian and Indigenous women.
She graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering. After working in infrastructure engineering at Lehman Brothers during and right after college, she transitioned to the digital media industry; spending the next 10 years, working on big data, forecasting and inventory management for media powerhouses Forbes Media, FOX News Digital and NBC News Digital.
Outside of the Googleverse, she is an Advisory Board Member of Per Scholas, a national workforce development focused on technology careers for individuals in overlooked communities. She also serves as an advisor for a number of startups.
